The Auburn Senior Center is open Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. for Senior Citizen activities. This is a free service open to Senior Citizens 55 years of age and older.

Regular activities include walking groups, exercise classes, bingo, puzzles, board games, card games, movies, and couponing. Every month there are guest speakers with topics ranging from healthy living to financial planning.

Every Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. there is a line dance class that is free and open to the public of any age.

Senior dances are held throughout the year with a dj or live band. There is a potluck meal at each dance. Admission for the dance is $5 per person.

Outside the normal operating hours the Senior Center is available for rentals for weddings, reunions, birthday parties, meetings, etc.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Auburn Senior Center is to provide a safe place for senior citizens to gather together in a spirit of fellowship without prejudice or judgement. We strive to ensure hope instead of hopelessness, fellowship instead of loneliness and purpose instead of boredom. We work to show our appreciation to our seniors by recognizing their contributions to our lives and their value in society.
