Auburn Water and Sewer expressly reserves the right to disconnect, confiscate unauthorized devices, and / or discontinue service or any other connection with or without notice where Auburn Water and Sewer discovers, finds or is otherwise made aware of any such installation that poses a threat to the supply, public health or public safety.
Auburn Water and Sewer cannot guarantee uninterrupted service and will not be responsible for any claims arising out of the failure to deliver continuous service.
- Bill payments can be made at any time, 24/7/365.
- You will need your account number from your printed billing statement to complete your bill payment. You may request your account number by calling Auburn Water and Sewer at (270) 542-4149 ext. 204 during normal business hours.
- The utility payment system, provided by NIC Kentucky, charges a small service fee for each transaction.
How Do I Use This Service?
Customers will need the following to pay their bill:
- Auburn Water and Sewer account number (located on your billing statement).
- The balance owed on your bill (also located on your billing statement).
- Your payment method: credit card or debit card.

What is this Service Fee?
The online utility payment system charges a service fee of 2.75% of the amount due to cover payment handling and all processing charges. The service fee will be calculated and disclosed prior to finishing payment. No minimum payment amount is required.
Does Auburn Water and Sewer keep any part of the service fee?
No. The service fee is collected during payment of your bill on behalf of the city in order to pay credit card processing fees.
How do I get a payment receipt?
Customers will have the option to email or print a receipt after payment.
IMPORTANT: Auburn Water and Sewer is not liable if you receive a disconnect notice and do not call our office before making payment. Your services may be disconnected and will be subject to the $50 service fee. If you are disconnected, your account balance plus the service fee will need to be paid in FULL before services are reconnected. If you are currently disconnected and make an online payment, your utilities WILL NOT be reconnected unless you contact our office to inform us of the payment. Auburn Water and Sewer allows up to 48 hours after we receive payment to reconnect any services. If paid through a third-party website or any online payment portal other than NIC Kentucky, there is no guarantee of timely arrival at our office.

If your account is delinquent, disconnected, or in the disconnect process, you MUST contact our office BEFORE you make a payment. Services will not automatically be restored or disconnection prevented if payment is made without contacting our office FIRST!
