The Auburn Police Department is a 2-person department that serves the citizens of the City of Auburn and the community through the enforcement of local ordinances and state laws. The people oriented officers interact with the citizens through community activities on a personable level. Being a small department they are assisted heavily by the Logan County Sheriff’s Department.
The Auburn Police Department is active in community involvement and is proactive in the school system. They present their Safety Pup Program to preschool aged children at Auburn Elementary School to enforce the concept of 'stranger danger' among other safety situations.

How To Find The Serial Number On Your Bike
On most bikes, the serial number will be under the bottom bracket. You'll need to flip the bike over to look for it.
In most cases, the serial number will be embossed in the frame, but there may be an easier to read sticker as well. You might want a flashlight to help you read the embossment.
What if it's not there? Other places to check are:
- A. The downtube, just above the cranks
- B. The rear stays that hold your rear wheel
- C. The top of the crank
- D. Under your top tube
- E. The headset
What if I can't find a serial number?
Unfortunately, some bikes simply don't have serial numbers, so enter 'None' into the serial number field. Make sure you enter as much information as you possibly can about your bike.
